Darts in Tramore/ Home:
One Man and His Dog !
In 1988, Joe O'Shea, had a brainwave ! He decided to organise a Darts Festival at his hotel in Tramore, Co. Waterford, in an effort to extend the summer season in the beautiful seaside resort - - - and the rest is history ! ! ! The first Autumn Darts Festival was held in September of that year and over the years it has grown into the most popular long-running darts event in the country.In subsequent years two other events, the Winter Gala and Spring Festival, were added to the Irish Darts Calendar and these tournaments now incorporate the Tramore Men's and Ladies' Inter-Counties Challenge and a round of the Ireland Players' Championship.
