The Ireland Players' Championship is now
in it's third season and it is growing
in strength with every round.
The Championship is being organised to
provide top-class competition for Irish
players and it is not intended to
compete
with or to clash with any other
organisation or event.
The Championship will be played over
seven rounds at different venues and a
Rankings System will be introduced with
the Top 32 players being invited to
compete in the Grand Finals.
Intending participants
are requested to note that closing dates
will be strictly adhered to and that
telephone entries will not be accepted.
A Youths'
Championship was introduced to the
programme last seaon and this proved to
be very successful.
This season it has
been decided to add a Ladies'
Championship and this will be played
over four rounds.
The next event will
be:
Sunday, August 10th., 2008.
Grand Finals of the 2008 Bruce Betting
Ireland Players' Championship at the
Springhill
Court Hotel, Waterford Road, Kilkenny,
starting at 11.30am.
Also finals of Ladies' Championship,
