The Evergreen Bar retained the Michael
Fowler Memorial Trophy when they defeated the Harp (2) 3 - 2 in the final of
Division (1) of the Mahers Sports/ Unicorn League at the Deanrock Darts Arena on Monday, November
21st.
In the semi-finals the Evergreen
defeated the Rock (1) 3 – 2 while the Harp (2) had a Similar victory over the Abbey Tavern.

Forde's Bar won the Liam Downey Memorial Trophy
with a 3 - 1 win over the Tory Top (2)
in the final of Division (2) of the
Mahers Sports/ Unicorn League at the Deanrock. The beaten
semi-finalists were Kirby’s Korner (1) and Ferry Arms.

It was a great occasion for the local
players in the Deanrock Bar as they captured both the Division (3) League and Shield titles at
the Deanrock on Monday, November 21st., 2011.
Deanrock (2) defeated the Friars Walk
Tavern and the Manhattan Bar en route to winning the Division (3) League while Deanrock
(1) had a convincing 3 – 0 victory over Redmond’s (1) in the Shield final.

Congratulations to the Cork team that
travelled to Shirley’s Bar in Kells, Co. Kilkenny, on Saturday, November 12th., to compete in
the 5-a-side Tournament and who emerged victorious with a 3 – 1victory over a strong Kilkenny side in
the final.
The Cork team defeated Wexford 3 – 2 in
a nail-biting semi-final and they continued their great run in the final with wins from Peter Quinn,
Kevin McDonnell and Joe Collins who defeated David Coyne,
Benny Grace and Michael Meaney,
respectively. James Brennan was Kilkenny’s winner. In the early stages of the competition
Damien O’Driscoll was unlucky not to hit a 9-darter. He missed double 12 with his ninth dart
and checked out with his next dart.
